2024 Saints Netball Club – Registration and Information Pack
We cater for all genders and age groups, 6 turning 7 to 100 turning 101!
We are non for profit, your fee includes: Equipment, court hire for training, umpire fees, player development, coaching development and end of year celebrations & presentations. We are always interested to hear feedback that can assist us in developing our club and maintaining our high standards. If you would like to assist with donations towards specialist training sessions or purchasing equipment for the club, this donation can be made via our registration page or alternatively please contact the club President via email saintsncpres01@gmail.com
2024 Registration Fees is made up of club fees, WA Netball fees and Joondalup Netball Fees.
The NetSetGO program for Children aged 5 & 6 is held at HBF Arena Joondalup on Saturday mornings.

We offer the opportunity for netball players of all levels to participate equally in teams. The focus is on fun! We pride ourselves on providing an environment of inclusion and respect for all player abilities and coaching abilities. We cater for Girls from 7yrs to Opens (18+) and Boys from 7U’s – 12U’s. Players that have the determination and desire to play at a higher level are encouraged to progress through the Netball Australia Athlete Pathway.
The club is made up of volunteers, If we do not have volunteers or sponsors step forward we do not have a club.
Teams will only be permitted to play if a coach and manager is in place.

All on-line registrations must be accompanied with full payment.
Before completing the Saints Netball Club player on-line registration process, please read carefully Saints Netball Club Policies and Guidelines (downloads as separate file) particularly those regarding your obligations to the Club under its Code of Conduct for Players, Parents/Spectators and Officials.
Registrations are open until January 31st 2024
Late registrations will be considered if there are places available within the relevant age group.

Choose the appropriate Competition suitable for your child’s date of birth
Complete child’s details and parent details,

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you listed.
If registering a NetSetGO player you will receive a Participants pack in the mail.
During March/April you will receive an email from Saints Netball Club Secretary with coach, training and game details.

Seniors (Opens 19+) – Players must be a minimum of 15 years old to play in Opens category
**Umpires/Coaches/Managers/Committee members and Assistant Coaches must also register (nil fee) via the link below, for as many roles as you fulfil.
MEDICALS – Please ensure that the coach and team manager are notified of any conditions, medical or otherwise, prior to start of season.
Payment Methods
Full payment must be made at the time of online registration via PlayHQ Online Registration via debit/credit cards. Please note there are transaction fee charged by PlayHQ not the club.
As our netball club is run solely by volunteers please consider volunteering your time as a coach, team manager or committee member – you will be supported by the club with any appropriate training or Working With Children Checks. Without your support and participation, our Club cannot continue to run.
Kidsport Vouchers
Enables eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $150 per calendar year towards club fees. Applicant must be aged 5 to 18 years. Applicant must be named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, with their individual Centrelink Client Reference Number (CRN) clearly displayed on the uploaded card. If you are eligible for KidSport you must register with your local government before registering your child with Saints Netball Club. Once you have applied for KidSport please contact our registrar Tanya Teeuwissen and provide her with the Kidsport voucher code.

Withdrawing registration.
Should you need to withdraw your registration, please inform the Registrar via email. All refunds will be processed in accordance with our fees policy which can be found Saints Policies and Guidelines.
AFTER the grading process has taken place, then a refund may be given minus an administrative fee $100, this will be at the discretion of the Executive Committee. Refunds will not be offered to any athlete pulling out because they do not agree with their team placement after grading. If the individual withdraws after affiliation data has been submitted to Joondalup Netball Association (mid March) then they will receive a partial refund of the JNA component only.
2024 Game Day Timeslots
The netball season starts on Saturday the 29th April 2023 (7&U – 13&U). For 15&U, 18&U and Opens players games start on Monday 2nd May 2023. Joondalup Netball Association will announce game times late March. All teams play at HBF Arena Joondalup outdoor netball courts where we carry out training. For updates on fixtures, game times and court allocation please visit the Joondalup Netball Association closer to competition www.joondalupna.com.au
All match times are at the discretion of Joondalup Netball Association. Please keep this in mind when registering your daughter, as players will not be permitted to move teams to suit other commitments that may clash with game times.
Coaching
Every year we need to fill volunteer coaching positions for our teams. If you would be interested in coaching please contact our Coaching Development Officer –Karen Holmes, saintsnccc@gmail.com
Parents and players are encouraged to register as coaches. There will be training and lots of support during the season. All coaches are required to complete a Working with Children check – please contact our registrar for details here.
Once you have volunteered to be a Coach, you will be expected to complete the Foundation Coaching Accreditation which is an online course. The Club will reimburse you for the course fee.
Joondalup Netball Association will also assist in helping you develop your coaching accreditations if you do wish to pursue coaching further than the club requirement of Foundation Level.
